Members of the Tri County amateur radio club regularly volunteer to serve as communications personnel at community events in the Delphos area. We also actively participate in the annual Ham Radio Field Day contest and regularly finish quite high in the state of Ohio rankings. Many club members enjoy in dx-chasing and often use our repeater to share exciting dx spots from the amateur low bands. Also the Tri County amateur radio club really shine when severe weather threatens our area. Many of our club members have been professionally trained to serve as spotters for tornado's or other severe weather and provide integral assistance to local police and fire personnel in storm tracking at a moment's notice |
